Check their interest rate and their service fee. I don't have to say anything anymore.
By the way what kind of convenience you received from ICICI bank? Recently i asked for a password change. You know the procedure for changing the password? I don't want to waste a page here. You yourself go and verify.
Apart from that you have to pay close to 400 rupees for every password change. Tell me if i am wrong. I challenge you.

66K plus 60K still only makes 126K, do they still have another 20K or so? How does the math tally here?
I think this all boils down to them wanting to clear the 485 backlog without accepting any more 485s all while not wasting any visa numbers for this year.
In an effort to juggle all these issues, they screwed it all up.
Bottom line is they want to streamline the system such that they don't have "unapprovable" 485s in the system. They have caught on to the way the lawyers and us legal immigrants were filing 485s to get our foot in the door then sitting tight for eons. They simply don't want that. They either want you here on a visa or on a green card straightforwardly. Thats what I am getting from all this.

If they think that we should be on GCs or VISA only, then they would be already working on streamlining the sytem instead of wasting so many VISAS every year as per Ombudsman's report.

My I-140 was filed in EB2 on the 18th of August and I was heart broken this morning when I came across this memo on IV this morning....I do not have a US Masters and was banking on my Bachelors + 5 years to qualify....My attorney sent me the following reply
"This memo deals with the EB-1 category and the memo does not talk about the EB-2 category. Your I-140 was filed for an EB-2 position and you should not worry about this memo."
Not sure about her comments, what do u guys think?

Looks like the 10+ years has always been the criteria for "exceptional ability" and most of us who are looking to substitute our work experience for Advanced degree do not fall into this category.

My H1 extension is under process. I had applied in Dec 2006. My DL expires on May 6. Is it possible to renew my license with the H1 extension receipt?. Is it possible to do Premium Processing now?
Not sure about NJ, but in NY they want to see your i94 that is attached to your approval notice if you dont have a valid stamp.
You do have time for premium processing but also find out locally if you can go back with an expired DL (expired within a month or so) , in most DMV I think they permit extension of expired DL. I am not sure about it, but You may want to verify.

The letter format and addresses are provided in the same post. I request members to email ombudsman the letter - since their office got some attention on this issue its best time to send more. All you have to do is paste the letter and add your personal info and send email - take a few more minutes to print it and send hard-copy as well, just in case if they ignore emails.
